53 Nations Compete for 23 Euro 2024 Final Spots
The European Qualifiers for UEFA EURO 2024 concluded in November 2023, with the play-offs for the remaining finals places taking place in March 2024. A total of 53 nations competed for a spot at Euro 2024, with teams finishing first and second in the 10 qualifying groups qualifying automatically for the tournament.
The 10 group winners and runners-up qualified directly for the finals, while the remaining 12 teams entered the play-offs. The play-off draw will take place on December 9, 2023 and the play-off matches will be played in March 2024.
The Euro 2024 finals will be held in 10 cities across Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The 24 qualified teams will be divided into six groups of four teams, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage.
Euro 2024 Qualifying Groups
The UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament was a football competition that was played from March 2023 to March 2024 to determine the 23 UEFA member associations that would qualify for the final tournament.
The 53 UEFA member associations were divided into 10 groups of five or six teams. Each team played two matches against each of the other teams in their group, one at home and one away. The top two teams in each group qualified directly for the final tournament.
